More than 20 professional, business, community groups and trade unions launched a new coalition on Monday 6 November 2006 at Parliament. The coalition is supporting Green MP Sue Kedgley’s flexible working hours private member’s bill introduced over a year ago, which will be considered in Parliament early next year, and will campaign for the coverage of the bill to be extended to all employees.
